Chrissy!

Yesterday, Chrissy, Ramon, and I went out to the Douglas Family Preserve. I went a few weeks ago with my Beyond Portraiture class, and fell in love with it. I have gone up there a few times since.
 My friend, Chrissy, helped me finish my fine art portfolio for this class. She has helped me with other assignments in the past, and she's always so much fun to shoot! She's also an artist, so I feel it's easy to collaborate with her and get beautiful, serene expressions. We didn't have the sun up for that long, but I think we got some beautiful photographs of her.

Melissa&Axel

Last weekend I shot an assignment with Melissa and Axel. They were married last year, and were nice enough to jump back into their wedding attire to help me out! We did some studio shots then went out and did a small outdoor session. Here are my favorites from both: Enjoy!

Rachel&Nathan

This session at Brooks, I'm in Portraiture 300/ Wedding and Events class. I loved the past 2 portraiture classes, so I am really looking forward to learning more in this class. The first assignment was to design a wedding album with our teacher's (Tim Meyer) photographs. The second assignment was to photograph an engagement session. I sort of cheated by photographing my friend, Rachel, and her boyfriend, Nathan; They're not engaged, but the same rules apply. I had a lot of fun photographing them together, even though we ran into a little problem with the bugs. So big thanks to Rachel & Nathan, and my boyfriend, Ramon, for assisting me!

April 2010: Horseshoes, Spiderwebs, and Daisies.

About 2 months ago, I went out looking for places to shoot, and i found this park! It had a lot of places that were perfect to shoot. These photos were just for fun, but I really like how they came out, so I thought I'd share. Enjoy!

So, my best friend, Melanie, and I went out on a mini-shoot! It was a little difficult trying to find a good place to shoot, but we finally found one after driving for 40 minutes! I had a lot of fun trying to make her smile and laugh! We were losing light toward the end, but I love how they came out!

Baby Kaelee!

So this weekend, I shot with a gorgeous little baby girl and her parents. I was so lucky to work with her; she was the most well-behaved 4 month old I've ever seen! The family was so fun to work with and I loved being able to capture their special little moments.
